Healing in HIgh gear

a self-paced course for the woman who knows she’s ready for support

Ambition is pretty much my middle name so when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis almost 20 years ago, it shook me.

I went from doing everything and anything I wanted to over analyzing the energetic cost of every decision I made. I felt like I had no control over my life, and honestly that I wasn’t really living at all.

If you’re the same way - a woman with big goals and lots of ambition living with autoimmune disease - you know how easy it is to find ourselves burnt out over and over again for exactly this reason.

We don’t want to have to choose between the life we want and our energy and health.

Living with autoimmune disease means living in bodies that respond differently to normal life - work, chores, pets, kids, family, friends - so we need a different way, different rules, to not only understand what we’re feeling but how to manage it too.

We can’t follow the same generic advice from someone who doesn’t live the way we need to - we need strategies & tools that work for our reality.

so, what do we do?

You’ve always been the person that shows up and does more than everyone else even with your autoimmune disease. But now, your symptoms are starting to make it feel impossible to really feel like yourself and keep working at the same speed.

You’re experiencing chronic pain, chronic fatigue, brain fog, and flares that show up when it’s most inconvenient…and no one around you really gets it.

Just because you have autoimmune disease doesn’t mean your drive and ambition have gone away, it does mean that working at the same level & continuing to push through is costing you your health.

I was determined to find a way to live with autoimmune disease while still achieving all my goals.

And now, I’m bringing it to you

I know it’s against your nature and the last thing you want to do but, listening to your body will be the game changer in continuing to live the life you want even if it means slowing down for a little while.

Healing in High Gear helps to do just that - it helps you listen to what your body is telling you, understand what it means, and continue hitting your goals in a way that doesn’t push you into complete shut-down mode.

This course is for your if:

  • You hold yourself to a high standard even when your energy is low because that’s “just life” with autoimmune disease

  • You keep pushing through your to-do list because that used to work, but clearly doesn’t anymore

  • Everything you do has a cost, like going out on a Friday night putting everything you planned for Saturday on pause

  • Your energy levels need social and professional boundaries but you feel shame when you set them, and even more shame when you hold them

  • You don’t want to make the choice between your ambition and your health but feel like that’s the only choice you have to make

In this course as well as my one on one coaching program and in my upcoming book, I share tools and strategies that I have developed over the last almost 2 decades of learning things the hard way.

We don’t need to sacrifice what we want in life just because we have an autoimmune disease. We do, however, need to understand when we need to pause if we want to continue moving forward.

Introducing: Healing in High Gear

This is answer to you being able to live an ambitious, high achieving life without your autoimmune disease dictating everything you are and everything you do. Get ready for a life where your autoimmune disease isn’t the first thing on your mind everyday anymore

Nothing in this course will ask you to lower your standards, but it will ask you to be honest with yourself and what you want to continue moving you forward.

Inside the course, you’ll learn how to:

  • Understand and use the stress response ladder so you catch stress building before it turns into a full flare

  • Become aware of the boundaries you keep breaking that cause more stress and burn out

  • Decondition yourself from pushing through as a badge of honor when it’s costing you so much to do it

  • Face the emotions you have with your autoimmune disease: shame, guilt, and embarrassment around the fact you “should” be able to do more

  • Stop making yourself feel wrong for needing rest

What I’m teaching isn’t just a theory I have, it’s actually backed by science. It’s everything my high-performing self needed, but didn’t have for years. Think: tools and strategies that you can put into practice right away

This is the moment where you decide to stop pushing through, where everything changes, and where you autoimmune disease stops dictating who you are and how you live your life.

FAQs

“What if I’m tight on time?”

I get it - you’ve got a big job, responsibilities, a social life, and your health to worry about. It feels like a lot - but do you truly not have time or could you be using the time you do have, smarter? This course isn’t about adding more to your plate - it’s about understanding why your plate keeps overflowing in the first place. The tools are designed to fit into your real life - your workday, your schedule, your current capacity - not ask you to stop doing everything else.

“What if I’m already overwhelmed?”

This is exactly for you! This course doesn’t ask you to do more. We start with helping your body feel safer, because that’s what helps reduce that overwhelm. You’ll learn how to recognize what your limits are, what it looks like when you’re getting too close to that point, and how to respond so you stop yourself from going further down that slippery slope into total shut down.

“Will this actually work for me if my symptoms are unpredictable?”

For sure! The unpredictability in our lives when we live with autoimmune disease contributes to burn out, so this course looks at that differently. It focuses more on the underlying patterns and your responses to your symptoms, and less on what the symptoms themselves are. Energy changes, symptoms can look totally different day after day, but your nervous system still has patterns we can use to build sustainable change.

“I already know I need boundaries… I just don’t follow through.”

You’re not the only one, and that’s why boundaries are part of this course. Knowing what to do and actually doing it is the difference between staying where you’re at and moving forward. But, making those changes are really hard - and are usually complicated by guilt, pressure, expectations, and our internal resistance. We unpack the “why” behind your boundaries to help you hold them - because when you’re working toward a goal, it helps manage what’s standing in your way.

“Is this going to tell me to slow down or do less?”

Absolutely not - I hated when people told me to change my goals or expect less from life. Just because we have autoimmune disease doesn’t mean that “less” needs to be our reality. This is about how we do everything we want without sacrificing our health.

“How is this different from everything else I’ve tried?”

The two big things that set Healing in High Gear apart from other programs is (1) it was developed by someone who is You, a high achieving, ambitious woman with big goals for life and just happens to have autoimmune disease; and (2) this teaches you about how your body works and not just what to do like a check list. I’m a firm believer that you need to understand the Why before you try and do the How.

“Do I need to be newly diagnosed for this to help?”

Nope! The science, tools, and strategies you’ll learn applies whether you were diagnosed recently or years ago. The diagnosis isn’t the challenge - it’s reprogramming your body and your brain, and that can happen multiple times over the years as you’re in different stages of life.

“How do I know if this is the right next step for me?”

Simple! If you’ve gotten this far and had any “this is me” moments, it probably is! You don’t need to have anything figured out before you start, just the gut feeling you have to change something about the way you’re managing life with your autoimmune disease.
